ABSTRACT

            This thesis aims to analyze the cultivation at BBPP Batangkaluku, starting from hydroponic plant, cultivation of dragon fruit, making of cornflour, usage of corn, cultivation of rice, making of biogas, making of compost, and cultivation of mushroom.

            This thesis uses participant observationto the place where cultivation is held. The scientist who know about the topic explains many information about the cultivation to writer. Sometimes writer also interview the scientist as the sources of data and making a recording on the interview. The writer also not forget to makes such a documentation on the cultivation. After that, the writer watches the process of cultivation from the field – thesis and takes note the activity from the recording. Then, the writer makes transcription of the interview recording and analyze it descriptively. After that, the data is analyzed in morpheme by morpheme and their free translation. Finally, talking about the profit of cultivation’s product.

            The result of this thesis shows that the product of the cultivation that more benefical for human’s body, because the product is more healthy and rich of nutrition. Some cultivation could be used as a business because the cultivation could make us got a lot of profit but with small fund (just for compost, biogas, and mushroom).
